Practice guidelines
You will be more comfortable if you refrain from eating
2 or 3 hours before class.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for full range of
motion.
Keep your bottle of water beside you when practicing.
If you need mat, we can provide you one.
Be Yourself
Classes can be physically demanding, and students are
encouraged to explore their individual thresholds in a non-competitive
manner. Each body has its own rhythm. Be Yourself and have fun.
Yoga practice will relax and care for your body. There is no hurry. New students lament that they are not progressing fast enough. Slowly, slowly, we invite you to investigate your practice with love and compassion for yourself. Be patient. If you maintain a commitment to a weekly practice, your body will transform before your eyes.
